This is an update for the 0.7 series that includes two file descriptor related fixes. The changes should be minimal and have mostly been available in the 0.8 branch for some time.

A summary of the changes since 0.7.17:
  • ensure that select() is not passed a too high file descriptor to avoid issues when a large number of file descriptors are open (thanks Adrien Urban)
  • use FD_CLOEXEC in NSS and PAM modules to ensure that nslcd file descriptors are not leaked to child processes
