This is an update for the 0.7 series that fixes a few minor bugs and includes a few small improvements. The changes should be minimal and have mostly been available in the 0.8 branch for some time.

A summary of the changes since 0.7.16:
  • a few small compatibility improvements from the 0.8 branch
  • fix two possible NULL pointer dereferences and a possible memory leak (thanks Jakub Hrozek)
  • install default configuration file with reduced permissions (further protection for CVE-2009-1073)
  • support larger gecos values
